In short
Le Mot Mystère shows no advertising, sells nothing, and asks for no account. The only data that leaves your phone is data that belongs to you — your stats and your game history — plus what we need to know when the app crashes. We never collect the words you guess.
What we collect
🎮 Your game stats
Games played, wins, streaks, stars and daily history, plus a player name if you choose one. This syncs so your progress survives a reinstall.
🔒 An anonymous identifier
Firebase Anonymous Authentication gives your installation a random identifier. It is tied to no name, no email address and no phone number. Its only job is to find your own data again.
🔧 Crash reports
Crashlytics sends us error reports so we can fix what breaks. These reports are not linked to your player identifier.
📈 Anonymous usage stats
Five facts per game: which game, the puzzle language, won or lost, how many tries, and stars earned. Nothing else — not the words you guessed, not your name, nothing that identifies you.
What we do not collect
No advertising and no advertising identifiers — the app stopped requesting them in August 2026. No purchases and no payment details. No tracking across other apps or websites. And never the words you type while playing.
Security
Encrypted in transit
Everything exchanged between your phone and our servers goes over HTTPS. The database rules are written so a player can only read or change their own data.
Accounts
No account required
There is nothing to create and nothing to remember. The app runs anonymously from first launch to last.
Your rights
• Access : Ask for a copy of the data attached to your identifier
• Deletion : Ask us to erase it entirely, with no reason needed
• Portability : Receive it in a readable, reusable format
• Objection : Email us to switch off usage stats and crash reporting
